Hello. I'm a independent journalist and radiomaker. I divide my time between the UK and the Americas - I'm just finishing a trip to Argentina at the moment. I specialise in social and political issues, but I sometimes produce reports on arts and culture for the BBC. I also work for the US based program Free Speech Radio News. When I'm not reporting, I like to work with community radio stations - it helps me stay in touch with whats happening in people's lives, day to day. I'm currently looking for work in the UK, but in the long run I am planning to come back to South America, to study Latin American History and Politics, and to produce a number of historical radio documentaries. I'm currently working on my first major project in this genre, which will be about the Peruvian rubber barons.
