I definitely appreciate the tone and darkness. As well, if you lessen the contrast a good deal, it'd make for a great web page backdrop if you wanted some dark content pages :-D

i wouldnt use it as a background image.. its more a mosaic in motion.
try reading it like a comic book, from the bottom up. reading between the lines.. between the images, for that matter.
