Instant uploads!!

Ourmedia now supports instant uploads!

Our friends at the Internet Archive have reconfigured their servers to accommodate the flood of media items that are pouring in from our members. As a result, you should be able to see your videos, audio files, and photos on Ourmedia within minutes rather than hours or days.

Just use the "publish my media" link in the left nav as usual, and you'll be able to publish your digital media and see it appear soon afterward -- sometimes in 10 minutes or less.

If your file is bigger than 15 or 20 megabytes, please use the new, improved Ourmedia Publisher tool version 1.2.2 (for Windows or Mac) by downloading the application from our Tools page. (One caveat: there remains a glitch in the license and in the tags, but you can fix that by clicking the Edit tab after the item is published; we're working to remedy these snafus.)

Please let us know in the Forums (not here) if you encounter any other glitches, and we'll get them squared away. Meantime, we hope you enjoy this latest milestone as Ourmedia marks its 3-month anniversary on Tuesday.
