How to download video to your portable device
Tips to trasnfer video to your iPhone, video iPod or PSP

Identify the videos you want.
Only certain videos will play on your iPhone, video iPod or PlayStation Portable. Currently, videos encoded in Flash -- popular on sites like YouTube -- won't play.Instead, look for videos with an .mp4 suffix, particularly those formatted in the eye-catching H.264 format. You'll find a wide selection at video hosting sites like YouTube, Revver or Ourmedia.
Other video formats will also play on the PSP. The following steps should be similar for viewing video on other portable devices such as the PlayStation Portable or the Archos Portable Media Player.
Step 1: Capture it.
You can grab a free video in one of two ways: On your PC, right-click (command-click on Macs) to download an individual file, or subscribe to a producer’s RSS feed to have the videos download automatically. Stores such as iTunes also sell popular movies and standard television fare.
Step 2: File it.
Once the file is on your machine, simply click the icon and it should copy over to your iTunes application. (PC users may need to do this manually.) The next time you attach your iPod or iPhone to your computer for updates, the video will copy over to the appropriate folder.
Step 3: Watch it.
The next time you turn on your iPhone or iPod after an update, the video will be available to play.With the use of S-video cables, videos can also be viewed on a TV set. For purchased videos from the iTunes store, the videos can be viewed on up to five computers and can be burned onto a data CD or DVD, but they cannot be made into a DVD that can be played on a DVD player. Almost all user-created videos do not have such restrictions.
