Publishing to the Web from your camera phone

Almost all new cell phones come with the ability to snap photos. Photo moblogging is simply the act of publishing pictures to the Web directly from your camera phone or mobile device. (What's a moblog? See the Glossary.)

Moblog services generally let you upload photos from your phone to the moblog website in two ways: by emailing the photo, or by copying files from your laptop or desktop computer to the site.

Fotolog is a gathering place for photo bloggers who want to share their images with others.

Fotopages lets you create a photo journal, a visual diary, photo album or plain-vanilla blog.

Expressions is a [well-designed?] visual blogging system developed by photographers, artists and bloggers.

mLogs adds an extra dimension by letting users add audio commentary.

Phlog lets users customize the look and interface of your pages through Cascading Style Sheets.

Textamerica, one of the earliest moblog services, lets members upload certain video files and sound files as well as photos, though it drew criticism for [deleting users' accounts/charging users??] • FotologFotolog
